What are CDS Views in ABAP on HANA?

CDS Views (Core Data Services) in ABAP on HANA are a powerful way to define and consume data models directly on the database layer. Instead of writing complex SQL queries, you can create a CDS View that defines your data logic once and then reuse it in Fiori apps, reports, or analytics — all optimized for SAP HANA’s in-memory speed. It’s basically how modern SAP applications handle data efficiently.

When I started learning CDS Views, I found them a bit confusing — annotations, associations, and all that syntax! But after joining Anubhav Trainings, everything clicked. The trainer, Anubhav Oberoy, explained each concept with live system demos and real project examples. Once I practiced hands-on, I realized how CDS Views simplify reporting, calculations, and integration with Fiori.

Now, I use them confidently to design smarter, faster applications on SAP HANA. Truly one of the most useful ABAP skills today!
